Andre Iguodala is reportedly headed to South Beach.

The Memphis Grizzlies agreed to trade Iguodala to the Miami Heat, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Grizzlies and Heat are also including the Oklahoma City Thunder in negotiations for a trade that could result in Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari joining Iguodala in Miami, Wojnarowski reports.

Heat forward Justise Winslow is at least one piece headed to Memphis in the deal, Wojnarowski adds. Winslow has been limited to just 11 of 49 games this season due to a back injury. However, the former 10th overall pick has been effective when healthy, averaging 11.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and four assists this year.

Iguodala will also reportedly sign a two-year, $30-million extension with Miami. However, the second season (2021-22) is a team option, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The Grizzlies had mutually agreed to hold Iguodala out for the season after acquiring him from the Golden State Warriors last summer. They had hoped to eventually flip him to a contender prior to Thursday’s trade deadline. Iguodala is earning $17.2 million this season – the final year of a three-year, $48-million contract he signed with Golden State.

Iguodala was a crucial piece of the Warriors side that won three NBA titles in four seasons between 2015 and 2018. He was also named Finals MVP in 2015.

Gallinari would give the Heat a massive boost to their outside shooting. The Italian stretch-four is averaging 19.2 points while converting 41% of his 3-point attempts.
