Tom Big Apple ?

Tom Thibodeau is the leading candidate to become the New York Knicks‘ next head coach, sources told The Athletic’s Mike Vorkunov and Shams Charania.

The Knicks will reportedly begin their search soon, with a decision expected to be made within the next few weeks.

Thibodeau last coached in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2018-19, his third season in charge of the team. However, he was fired from the position after a 19-21 start to the year.

Prior to his time in Minnesota, Thibodeau served as head coach of the Bulls for five seasons. He managed a combined 255-139 record in Chicago and led the squad to five consecutive postseason appearances. He was dismissed from that role in 2015 after reportedly falling out with the team’s front office.

Would he change the culture yes! would they accept it? we don’t know because big apple fanbase is very tough and demanding.
