ENES KANTER HAS SOME BRIGHT PLAN

When his NBA career ends, Enes Kanter intends to accept an offer to join the WWE as an in-ring talent.

“I’m definitely becoming a WWE wrestler, for sure,” the Boston Celtics center told Stadium’s Shams Charania. “I already have these offers from WWE, but hey dude, I’ve got to finish my basketball career first. After my career, I’m definitely becoming one.”

Wrestling fans may have to wait to see the 6-foot-10 Turkish national in the squared circle on a full-time basis. Kanter is averaging a respectable 8.2 points and 7.7 rebounds in just 17.5 minutes per game for the Celtics this season, and he’s only turning 28 this year.

However, Kanter’s day job isn’t preventing him from tapping into his passion for wrestling on a part-time basis.

Last September, he held the promotion’s 24/7 Championship belt – for all of 24 seconds – during an appearance on WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden.
