ESPN’s ‘The Last Dance’ drew a massive audience for the premiere

It was the documentary of the century that everyone was waiting for and the results was spectacular, With absolutely no competition on TV, “The Last Dance” posted an incredible rating on night 1 – and the series should only get better as it progresses.

Via ESPN:

“The Last Dance” averaged 6.1 million viewers for episodes 1 and 2 across ESPN & ESPN2 from 9-11 p.m. ET. Of those 6.1 million, 3.5 million were in the 18-49 demo. Episode 1 (9-10 p.m.) averaged 6.3 million viewers and episode 2 (10-11 p.m.) averaged 5.8 million viewers.

“The Last Dance” will continue each Sunday night through May 17th, with two episodes airing each week.
